For owner-operators

You own the truck. We'll handle the hustle.

Being an owner-operator means wearing every hat — driver, mechanic, accountant and dispatcher. Hand the dispatching to a dedicated professional and get back to driving, earning and living.

Higher weekly gross

We negotiate every load, plan reloads in advance and cut deadhead miles — the three biggest levers on your weekly revenue.

Home time that's respected

Tell us when you want to be home. Your dispatcher plans backwards from that date so you actually make it.

Rates above your break-even

We know your cost per mile and never book below it. Total expenses ÷ total miles is our floor, not our target.

Lanes you choose

Regional, dedicated or over-the-road — you set the lanes and the regions, we find the freight.

Why owner-operators hire a truck dispatcher

When you dispatch yourself, you're doing two full-time jobs. You're searching the load board at a truck stop, calling broker after broker, negotiating rates while you're tired, and signing rate confirmations on your phone. Meanwhile, the best loads get booked by someone else while you're on the road and can't pick up the phone.

Truck stops are for rest. Home is for family. A professional dispatcher gives you both back. At Pro Dispatch, your dispatcher works the boards and the phones while you drive, so a strong next load is waiting before you deliver the current one.

Already have a dispatcher?

Then you already know how valuable good dispatching is — and how frustrating a bad one can be. Ask yourself: is your dispatcher available 24/7? Do they handle your invoicing and accessorial claims? How many trucks are they juggling? At Pro Dispatch, every dispatcher handles only 3–5 trucks, works around the clock, and manages your invoices so you get paid on time.

Your week, planned around you

Your dispatcher keeps your off days, personal days, weekends and preferences in mind while planning every trip. Want to be home Friday night? Prefer not to go into the Northeast? Don't want to run a certain broker? It's all in your profile, and it's all respected.

Example: how load options work

Say you're empty in Chicago, IL. Your dispatcher calls with two options: Chicago to Atlanta, GA paying $2,200, or Chicago to Richmond, VA paying $2,500. They'll explain the miles, the deadhead, the reload market at each destination and the broker's payment terms — then you pick. That's how it works every single time.

Paid directly, always

Loads are booked under your own MC. Brokers pay you or your factoring company directly, and we never hold your money. Our dispatch fee is billed separately: 5–8% per load depending on your truck type, or a flat $100 per load or $400 per week — all negotiable. See our pricing page for details.

Owner-operator FAQ

Straight answers

I just got my MC authority. Can you dispatch a new authority?

Yes. Some brokers have restrictions on new authorities, but we know which brokers work with new MCs and we help you build history and broker relationships from your very first load.

Will you force me to take loads I don't want?

Never. You get at least two load options every time and you decide. There's no forced dispatch.

What questions will my dispatcher ask me?

Your truck type and how many trucks you run, your typical weekly gross, miles per day, weight limits, trailer length, whether you run specific lanes or all over the US, how you get paid (factoring, quick pay or standard pay), and how many days you can stay out.

Can I keep my own broker relationships?

Of course. If you have brokers or shippers you like, tell your dispatcher. We'll keep working those relationships and add new ones on top.

What you get

Everything an owner-operator needs from a dispatcher.

A personal dispatcher, 24/7

One dedicated dispatcher who knows your truck, your lanes and your home time — available around the clock, all year long.

Only 3–5 trucks per dispatcher

Your dispatcher handles a small book of trucks, backed by experienced team leads, so you get real attention instead of a call center.

Commission-driven negotiation

Our dispatchers are paid on commission, so they only earn more when you earn more. That's why they fight for higher-paying loads.

Paid directly, under your MC

Every load is booked under your own MC. Brokers pay you or your factoring company directly — we never touch your money.

Your schedule, no forced dispatch

Your dispatcher plans your week around your preferences, off days and home time. You always get the final say on every load.

All paperwork handled

Broker setups, rate confirmations, invoices for factoring, plus lumper, detention, layover and TONU claims — done for you.

Multiple load options

You get at least two load options every time — like Chicago → Atlanta at $2,200 or Chicago → Richmond at $2,500. You choose.

No long-term contract

We don't lock carriers into contracts. Stay because the results are good — leave any time, for any reason.
